A crash on the Las Vegas Beltway on Monday morning has left three people dead.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5 a.m. in the north valley on the Beltway.
A man was driving a blue Mazda sedan east near Fifth street when he lost control and over corrected. He then crossed the center media and crashed into a Gold Cadillac Escalade which was travelling west. The Cadillac then caught fire.
The driver of the Cadillac driver was a 59 year old man who was not wearing a seat belt. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. There was a passenger in his car who was also not wearing a seat belt and they were also killed.
The driver of the Mazda was a 56 year old male and he also was not wearing a seatbelt. He too was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash and investigations are continuing.
